1. Information We Collect
Public arrest records. We collect and republish publicly available arrest and booking data from Travis County and Bexar County, Texas government systems. This data is a matter of public record under Texas law.
Lead inquiry forms. When you submit a bail bond or attorney inquiry form, we collect: your name, phone number, email address (optional), date of birth, and booking information you provide. We share this information with licensed partner professionals to fulfill your request.
Removal requests. When you submit a record removal request, we collect your name, email address, and the booking number you wish to suppress. This information is used solely to process your request and send a confirmation.
Usage data. We collect standard web server logs including IP addresses, browser type, referring URLs, and pages visited. This data is used for security monitoring and aggregate analytics only.
Cookies. We use session storage (not persistent cookies) to preserve UI state such as your scroll position when navigating between county tabs. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
2. How We Use Information
- To display public arrest records as a public service
- To connect you with licensed bail bondsmen or attorneys when you request it
- To process record removal requests
- To operate and improve the Site (aggregate analytics only)
- To send transactional emails you have explicitly requested (removal confirmations, lead receipts)
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers. We do not use your information for advertising targeting. We do not share your information with third parties except as described in Section 3.
3. Information Sharing
Lead partners. When you submit an inquiry form, your contact information is shared with licensed bail bondsmen and/or criminal defense attorneys in our partner network who match your location and request type. You consent to this sharing by submitting the form. Partners receive: your name, phone, email (if provided), date of birth, charge, and booking number.
Service providers. We use Stripe for payment processing (partner onboarding). Stripe's privacy policy governs data they collect. We use a third-party SMTP provider to send transactional emails. These providers receive only the minimum data necessary to perform their service.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
4. Public Records and Your Privacy
Arrest records published on this Site originate from government agencies and are legally public information. However, we take the following steps to protect individual privacy beyond what the law requires:
- Records older than 90 days are de-indexed from search engines (noindex/nofollow)
- We provide a free, immediate record removal service for anyone who requests it
- We do not host mugshot photographs
- We do not sell removal services or charge any fee for suppression
- We do not publish records of juveniles
5. Data Retention
Active booking records are retained indefinitely as public record archives. Suppressed records remain in our database but are hidden from all public views; the suppression is permanent.
Lead inquiry submissions are retained for 90 days for business records purposes, then deleted.
Removal request logs are retained for 2 years for compliance purposes.
6. Security
We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Our database is hosted on a secured server with access restricted to authorized personnel. We do not store payment card data — all payments are processed by Stripe and subject to their PCI DSS compliance.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request removal of your arrest record from our public display — submit a removal request
- Request deletion of any personal information you submitted via an inquiry form — email [email protected]
- Opt out of SMS/email contact from lead partners — reply STOP to any message you receive
- Access information we hold about you — email us and we'll respond within 30 days
8. TCPA Consent
By submitting an inquiry form on this Site, you expressly consent to receive phone calls, SMS messages, and emails from licensed bail bondsmen and criminal defense attorneys regarding your inquiry. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS or using the unsubscribe link in any email.
This consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.
9. Children's Privacy
This Site is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has submitted personal information, we will delete it promptly. We do not publish arrest records of individuals who were minors at the time of arrest.
